Apscitu Warned of Google Censoring Republican Email Ads Already in 2012 Presidential Election
December 2, 2022
Google Mail (Gmail) is the most popular email service by far,
used by millions of individuals, government, media, business,
and academia for years.
However, only very recently have politicians and the media,
all
IT
incompetent, started warning of Google, via its Gmail spam
filter, censoring Republican email ads in recent elections,
particularly the 2020 Presidential Election. But over 3.5
years ago, in
Google:
Invasion of the Email Snatchers, Apscitu warned of this
having already happened in the 2012 Presidential Election:
During the 2012 Presidential Election I used my University
of Alaska Gmail account to receive Republican email ads and
most of them ended up in the Gmail spam folder no matter
what I did, like repeatedly declaring them Not Spam. This
didn't happen to unsolicited Democratic email ads. The
Gmail spam folder is only accessible online since Gmail is
webmail. Like many people, I used a non-webmail email
client on my computer and usually didn't go online often to
look in the Gmail webmail spam folder. Further,
uncharacteristically, emails in the spam folder are deleted
after 30 days.
Academia, which is overwhelmingly anti-Republican, has
recently done studies proving this anti-Republican Google
censorship. For example, Apscitu's
Corruption
and Free Speech at Columbia, which also uses Gmail, talks
about a recent study,
A Peek into the
Political Biases in Email Spam Filtering Algorithms During US
Election 2020.
Email ads are incredibly important to all political parties.
These days, since they are so effective, they are the main way
political parties get their message out and raise money.
Email addresses of supporters are incredibly valuable and the
political parties go to a lot of effort and expense to get
them. A political party, like the Democrats, blocking its
opponent's emails via Gmail is a sure-fire way to steal an
election.
This political email censorship by Google is not surprising
given that Google founder Sergey Brin was born and raised in
Soviet Russia (Moscow) so feels such censorship is perfectly
normal. See

— Illegal Competitor or National Security
Threat.
Since
Google:
Invasion of the Email Snatchers, Apscitu has written
extensively about Google's Gmail spam filter,
including

Blacklists, and the Great Spam Filter Scam and

Turnoff: Gmail Spam Filter, as well as
Your

was part of the reason for the invention of

I have also
been contemplating a
First
Amendment lawsuit about Google's email censorship,
particularly since Google may be colluding with the government
to do this. As I wrote in Apscitu's
Google:
Invasion of the Email Snatchers, as well as
No,
The NSA Does Not Have Encryption-Breaking Quantum
Computers, it has already been proven both that
Google colludes with the NSA to spy
on innocent Americans, particularly via giving the NSA easy
access to Gmail, and that the
NSA lets the FBI do the same
thing.
The FBI is an unconstitutional organization from its creation
in 1908 — the Founding Fathers would never have agreed
to a national police force, given their horrendous experience
with the British — and throughout its dark history has
been used by those in power to spy on, as well as harass,
innocent Americans, albeit political opponents, such as
President Richard Nixon did, as uncovered in Watergate; read
or watch
All The President's Men. Worse, being
IT
incompetent, the FBI can't even do what it was ostensibly
created for, to protect innocent Americans; see
U.S. Surrenders
in IT War, Starts Paying Tribute to Russia and
FBI
Hacking Investigation Negligence Lawsuit.
Currently, the FBI is in trouble yet again, this time for
colluding with
pre-Musk
Twitter to censor innocent Americans, albeit political
opponents. It's a trivial step from spying to
censorship.
